What areas around West Chester do you cover?
We cover West Chester Borough and seven townships around it: West Goshen, East Goshen, Westtown, East Bradford, Birmingham, Thornbury in Chester County, and Pocopson. Most addresses there use the 19380 or 19382 zip, with 19383 for the university area. Send your street address through the form and we will confirm.
West Chester mailing addresses also reach into townships outside this list. Outside our core area? Send the form and ask, and we'll tell you plainly whether we can take the job.

West Chester Borough
The county seat has the oldest housing in our area: the median home dates from 1954 and more than 40 percent of housing units were built in 1939 or earlier. About 35 percent of homes are owner-occupied, so many jobs come through landlords as well as owners. Half-round, box and pole gutters are common on older blocks.
Before work: inside the downtown historic district, visible changes need design review. Read the historic district gutter guide. Zips: 19380, 19382, 19383.
West Goshen
West Goshen surrounds the Borough on the east, north and west, and its typical owner-occupied home dates from 1976, many now on a second set of gutters. About 6,750 homes are owner-occupied.
Before work: the township's residential permit package lists replacing exterior gutters and leaders as ordinary repair needing no permit, but new or relocated drain piping is treated differently (permit package). Zips: 19380, 19382, 19383.
East Goshen
East Goshen's homes have a median build year of 1982, with a mix of single-family streets and attached-home communities, where gutter work may need association sign-off. About 6,160 homes are owner-occupied.
Before work: the township lists roofing and siding or stucco as needing permits; gutters are not on that list, so we confirm with the codes office before scheduling (township permit list). Zip: mostly 19380; some township addresses use a different mailing zip and are still in our area.
Westtown
Westtown is mostly owner-occupied (about 83 percent), with a median build year of 1981 and dozens of named neighborhoods on the township's neighborhood map. Wooded lots make it prime territory for guards.
Before work: gutter permit rules aren't stated in the township's permit materials, so we confirm with the township before work. Zip: 19382.
East Bradford
East Bradford, home to Marshallton village, has a median build year of 1987 and about 88 percent owner-occupancy. It was especially hard hit with downed trees in the September 1, 2026 storms (Daily Local), so storm-bent gutters and limb damage are common calls.
Before work: gutter permit requirements are not confirmed; we check with the township first. Zips: 19380, 19382, 19383; parts of the township use another mailing zip and are still covered.
Birmingham
Birmingham, including the Dilworthtown area, is almost entirely owner-occupied (98.6 percent), with a median build year of 1989 and the highest median home value in our area. Larger homes mean longer runs, more corners and a good case for six-inch gutters.
Before work: permit requirements are not confirmed; we check before scheduling. Zip: 19382, with a small part of the township using another mailing zip.
Thornbury
Thornbury Township in Chester County has the newest housing in our area, with a median build year of 1994. We serve the Chester County township only, not Thornbury Township in Delaware County.
Before work: permit requirements are not confirmed; we check before scheduling. Zip: 19382.
Pocopson
Pocopson is rural and almost entirely owner-occupied (98.5 percent), with a median build year of 1986 and long driveways under mature trees. The township posted road closures after the September 1, 2026 storms (township storm update).
Before work: permit requirements are not confirmed; we check before scheduling. Zip: 19382.
Need work where the gutter meets the wall? We also offer siding repair and replacement across the same eight municipalities.
